Over the years, CCCS has built a reputation with creditors who would much prefer to receive repayment of an individual's outstanding credit balance than to sue him or see him go bankrupt.
The Process
When appropriate and necessary, we can set up a DMP (debt management plan) under which CCCS of Hawaii contacts each creditor to arrange monthly payments that the client can afford. Creditors will often waive or reduce their fees (late, over-limit and interest) if they know that the debt will be repaid on a regular payment schedule. The DMP serves the dual role of helping the client repay his debts and helping creditors collect the money owed to them.
